Been going to Gio for years and honestly if I wasn’t bald I’d keep going. My future step son took over my chair, though. The energy and vibes of this place are a testament to Fred’s hard work and incredible determination to bring his vision to life. Have known Fred for years and yes I’m biased but never in a million years imagined the incredible environment he created. Truly magical. The entire staff is incredibly welcoming, hilarious, and always sharpening their craft. The environment of this place is truly a breath of fresh air and always entertaining. Not only do they do an incredible job on the fades, lines up, & straight razor shaves they give back to their community. From the Food Drives, the young men fishing trips, the fireworks displays or helping the local families in need...When people say “support small businesses” these are the type of individuals that deserve it! Hands down best barber shop! Great vibes, great people, great atmosphere. Was recommended to Big Chop 4 years ago for my son’s first haircut and now cuts all the boys in our family! Highly recommend and has a great selection of barbers all the way around!
Been with the owner Fred since he was in barber school. He is an amazing barber and leader! He and is team are constantly coming together and giving back to the community the Officially Chopped has an amazing family (staff) and are always very kind and welcoming! When someone ever asks where I take my son or if I see someone looking for a place to take their family member who ever it may be I always recommend Officially Chopped! Love the staff love the environment. Won’t ever take my boys anywhere else!

Elijah is a new member to our family, and when he told me he wanted to get his hair braided for Prom I immediately went to my goto mom's group on FB. The mother of the owner commented on my post, and I am SO thankful she did!! We have been to the shop twice now. Elijah has found his barber And that, for any young man is important in life. Drove 40 minutes to get in with Mikaela, and it was definitely worth it! The shop itself is cool, friendly staff, great music, and the cut from Mikaela was clean! I was actually surprised it was under 40, which is probably about half the price I found for a haircut/beard trim anywhere else that looked good.
Super family oriented. Clean cut and my son loves it. Great atmosphere and close to home. Love supporting local business owners. We will for sure be back to see Chop.
